As the original and oldest public event held at Stan Hywet when it became a house museum, the Easter Egg Hunt is a joyful experience for families year after year. Hop into spring and make memories at one of Stan Hywet's most magical traditions!

Join us for a morning OR afternoon session and enjoy egg hunts designed for different age groups, visits with the Easter Bunny, magic and balloon twisting, photo opportunities, the Eggspress ride, and a special visual egg hunt inside the Manor House. Molly's Courtyard and Café will be open offering food and beverages, and the Gift Shop is perfect for spring shopping. Your ticket also includes self-guided tours of the historic Manor House before the hunts begin. After the Easter Egg Hunts conclude, the estate will close for the day.

Check-in for all hunts are in the Courtyard.

AM Session - Egg Hunt Times

  • The grounds open at 9:00 AM.
  • Egg Hunts begin at 10:15 AM and occur every 15 minutes.
  • Age groups will be assigned a time, please check your Event Reminder Email the week of the event.
  • 10-15 years Scavenger Hunt - Start between 9:30am - 11:00am

All guests must leave by 12 Noon, AM guests may not stay for the following session.

PM Session - Egg Hunt Times

  • The grounds will open at 1:30 PM
  • Egg Hunts begin at 2:45 PM and occur every 15 minutes.
  • Age groups will be assigned a time, please check your Event Reminder Email the week of the event.
  • 10-15 years Scavenger Hunt - Start between 1:30pm-3:00pm

All guests must leave by 4:30 PM, the Estate will be closed for the day.


Important Event Information

  • Egg hunts begin promptly. Please plan to be on the grounds 30 minutes before your earliest hunt start time.
  • Please carpool if possible. Parking is available in the main and lower lots, with free shuttles provided to the estate when the main lot is filled.
  • Please allow extra time to arrive and shuttle onto the property from auxiliary parking, which may take up to 15 minutes.
  • This event typically sells out, tickets are on sale until April 3, 2026
  • Different hunts are offered for different age groups.
  • Includes magician, balloon twisting, Easter Bunny visits, and photo ops.
  • Rain, shine, or even snow - the event goes on! No refunds or exchanges.
  • No adult egg hunts.
  • No pets permitted. Service dogs are always welcome!
  • This event does not currently have a sensory-friendly version.
