Join Stan Hywet’s Education Team for Seiberling Explorers on select Tuesdays to participate in a fun and educational activity and guided walk around property. Participants will explore a different topic each session including flowers, transportation, the summer solstice, pollinators, and more! Once a month we will be joined by the Akron-Summit County Public Library for a story time. Registration is separate for each program date. An adult must register and stay with each child. This program is intended for children aged 3-6.

June 10: Participants will learn all about flowers and spend time exploring flower gardens.

June 17:  Join the Akron-Summit County Public Library for a story time and learn about the summer solstice.

July 1: Participants will learn about different pollinators and get a chance to do a special waggle dance.

July 8: Participants will learn about transportation and make a craft commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Goodyear Blimp.

July 15: Join the Akron-Summit Public Library for a story time and learn about the different animals you can find at Stan Hywet.

July 22: Learn all about butterflies and get a chance to feed a butterfly in our Butterfly House.

August 5: Participants will learn all about bugs.

August 12: Join us to make some music.

August 19: Join the Akron-Summit Public Library for a story time and go on a birding walk.
