Join photographer Ian Adams for a Photography Walk. Students will explore the gardens and grounds of Stan Hywet in search of tulips, peonies, flowering shrubs, and spring wildflowers. Adams shares, “Anyone can take snapshots with a smartphone, but to take your photography to the next level you will need an understanding of lighting and composition in landscape and garden photography, as well as how to control exposure, sharpness, and depth-of-field, using your smartphone or digital camera’s built-in features as well as some smartphone apps that provide additional capabilities.” Adams will provide tips on landscape and nature photography throughout the program. Participants must provide their own smartphone, digital camera, and/or camera equipment for this program. Registration is open to adults and children aged 15 and older. Registration is separate for each Photography Walk date. Please arrive 20 minutes early to check in with Adams before the walk begins.
